“MAA TUJHE SALAAM”
Officials said: “The hospital will provide free diet to the mothers of neonates (0-30 day) admitted in the hospital under JSSK, also known as ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’.”
“It will be four times a day for maximum of five days,” they said.
“The free diet is in addition to the already existing guidelines under which the pregnant women undergoing delivery at GB Pant Hospital get free medicines, treatment, diagnostic and transport,” the officials said.
“The hospital is providing coupons for breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner with total cost of Rs 100 per mother per day to be relished in the hospital kitchen,” the officials said.
They said the children hospital at Sonawar became the first in the Valley to implement revised guidelines of the scheme launched in July 2012.
