3. Indian students brutally assaulted and stabbed a Kashmiri courier after he refused to chant bharat mata ki jai.
4. NIT administration closed down the campus and asked Kashmiri students to vacate the hostel buildings. Indians are never asked to do so, because where would the slumdogs go? This has happened in the past too and Kashmiri students, the ones who use hostels are from outskirts have had to take shelter in local mosques after being vacated like this.
5. None of this was reported in the Indian media.
6. Then the administration decided to re-open the the campus.
7. Indian students tried take out a march out of the campus and police tried to prevent them from doing so.
8. The Indian students assaulted police, damaged property after which they were lathi charged.
9. Indian media and social networking groups are now abuzz with this news, calling for saving of NIT et al and poisoning the atmosphere with communal vibes.
10. There is not even a mention of the criminal actions of Indian goons in the Indian media.
11. Indian home minister Rajnath Singh took up the issue with Mehbooba Mufti.
12. Indian government sent a two-member panel to NIT Srinagar to assess the situation.
13. And lo and behold Hindu nationalist party Shri Ram Sena, state President Rajiv Mahajan has termed the police action against non local students of NIT as “shameful” and threatened of “communal riots!

Non local students of NIT Srinagar last evening resorted to violence by assaulting policemen and officers and pelted stones resulting in damage to public property.

Police have lodged an FIR no 45 at police station Nigeen and started investigation.

“The mob of students resorted to violence by assaulting the policemen including officers and started stone pelting. This resulted in damage to public property. The deployment chased the mob and in this melee some of the students got injured who were given first aid,” police spokesman said.

Police said that about 500 students carrying banners displaying their demands tried to take out a march and reached the main gate on the main road that created the trouble.

Pertinently, non local students of NIT Srinagar had assaulted local students last week after India cricket team lose to West Indies in the T20 world Cup match.

Meanwhile, a Hindu nationalist party Shri Ram Sena, state President Rajiv Mahajan has called for Jammu Bandh on April 7 against the police action.

Please watch these videos. If possible publish some videos that proves your claim. Otherwise please stop blaming others for your activity. First you do something, then claiming others have done it, is not a behavior that suggests mental stability. btw can you please publish no of “local” and “non-local” student studying in nit srinagar.

The kashmiris have to face a lot of hardship everyday that we can never even think of, but please be true to your self and let the students have some atmosphere to study. Studies are being hampered for all students be is local or non local.
